Thetis
Thetis is a fisher from Saltmarsh. She is half human (maternal side) and half sea elf (paternal side). She knows little of her father except for the fantastic stories her mother told her which she never quite believed. Her mother was part of the navy and met her father on a mission. She told Thetis that her father was a sea elf and the love of her life.
During her childhood her mother taught her, how to use bow and arrows as well as fight in case it would ever be necessary. This was especially thrilling to Thetis as she was bullied a bit due to her unusual complexion as a child.
Her best friend Karstin is an old childhood friend and they both went into practice as fishers and were eventually able to afford their own boat. Karstin is married to another of their friends Caryl who often helps out with the fishing business.
It was a great tradegy when her mother died of cancer 15 years ago as she and Thetis were incredibly close. Since then she has often fallen to the bottle on longer fishing trips and this is getting worse during her adventuring times.
She met an old wizard named Fizban, who claimed that he knew her father.
Thetis has a small dragon as her familiar which changes in apperance from time to time. Furthermore she has a parrot that can sing drinking songs.
