Shirus, Goddess of Clouds
Goddess Shirus , Lady of Cloud, Mistress of Dreams, Bringer of Eternal Sleep
Shirus is the goddess of clouds, dreams, prophecy, and peaceful death in Glenerene. A counterpart and/or twin of Erona, Shirus represents that which comes before the storm. She is commonly described as a naive and innocent goddess who brings a kind death to those who must suffer no more. Those who die in their sleep or after illness are said to be taken by Shirus to enjoy a final dream.
Shirus has frequently personally interacted with the head of her Children of Dream — Yeva Bilous — which makes her one of the most sociable deities of the Nature Pantheon.

Divine Domains
Sleep, child, for Shirus will guide you to Dream. And, in Dream, Truth is there. The goddess of clouds hold much more than puffs of water vapor as her divinity. As the goddess of dream and prophecy, Shirus often sends her more devout followers to Dream*. Dream is a realm of what is, what has been, what will be, and what must never be. As telling the future is a dangerous skill for immortals and mortals alike, Shirus provides no hints to deciphering what Dream shows.
Peaceful death is also a part of Shirus' domain, and it is said that those who die in their sleep or after a bout of illness are shown a final dream — or a final nightmare, if Shirus deems a person to be of wicked nature — before being ushered to their respective afterlife.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
The blue eye is a symbol often associated with Shirus. This is because prophecy "opens one's eyes" to the possibilities of the future.
Tenets of Faith
Trials of Faith
To become a Child of Dream, potentiates must undergo three tests. If the potentiate gained the Mark of the Eye in the period of potion-induced sleep, they are accepted as a Child of Dream initiate.
Holidays
The Summer Solstice is a sacred day to Shirus as well as Ezlir, the God of Flames. While the day of the Solstice is vital to Ezlir's traditions, the night is the same for Shirus.
