The Nature Pantheon
The Nature Pantheon is used to refer to those deities that govern the basic, and natural, laws of the world. It is led in many senses by the goddess Foxglove, Goddess of Flowers, known to be one of the most active of the pantheon and revered in almost all corners of the world. Others in this pantheon include Earendil, God of the Seas, Vodite, God of Stone, Ezlir, God of Flames, Erona, Goddess of Storms, Shirus, Goddess of Clouds. While not everyone follows the pantheon of nature it is still considered to be the corner stone of the world and in many ways they are considered the elder gods of Glenerene.
Cosmological Views
It is said that the Deities listed in the Nature Pantheon are the first born of the universe. That from Foxglove's compassion and Vodite's will the world was born. The twins (though in some translations the single duel souled diety) goddesses Shirus and Erona breathed the sky, clouds, and winds into being. Earendil was next to gift the seas and lakes all manor of live nurturing water to Glenerene and shared that gift with the twins to spread across the lands. The final gift was given by Ezlir who crafted the sun and the stars, and who shared his warmth with Glenerene so that the creations of the others could thrive.
