Corpsebloom
Corpsebloom is a flower native to the region of Gol-Kasha, that grows throughout the eastern Plains of Pesht, but most specifically around the village of Vsedim.
Corpseblooms are perennial, herbaceous liana growing to a height of 1–3m tall with twining stems. The leaves are three-lobed, 5–15cm long, with 5–20cm long stems from the vine. The flowers have a subtle sulphurous fragance, are a dark purple, and grow to a diameter of 4–8cm. These flowers open in low light, around dusk, and close before dawn. It is believed that Corpsebloom seeds can only germinate in freshly spilled blood, though this is unconfirmed.
Corpseblooms are said to aid in the use of necromantic spells and rituals, granting those who breath in the smoke of a potent incense made from their petals increased abilities. For this reason, the Brotherhood of Autumn has been harvesting them in great quantities from Vsedim.
