Arnott Aquila, Chess, Ser Kerridin, and Sere Watchwithe journey out from Sigur attempting to fight the Bandits in Bogwatch. On the way, they defeat a Gnoll Hunter and a Mangy Hyena, and steal the Gnoll's treasure. The Bandits prove more difficult to overcome, and repel the Scofflaws.
