Azzouz Benachour, Holt Oberhau, Serrast, and Worry travelled out from Sigur towards the Bogwatch, where they encountered a mysterious tall signal fire. The flame appeared to be the anchor for a Wisp — a divine messenger of Madam Midnight — which had been bound into the service of someone from Sustain attempting to send an unknown message via a ritual. The signal fire was scattered, and the Face in the Flame untethered.
