Aurumis
Aurumis is the capital of The Gold Empire, from where the The Gold Emperor rules his great land. The city is the envy of the world, a cultural, technological and religious powerhouse the like of which has not been seen since the great days of the Old Elven Empire.
Demographics
People of all races live in Aurumis, as the Gold Emperor makes a point of representing all his subjects in the capital. Most of the aurusians come from the oldest core provinces and consist of humans, elves and dwarves, but all other provinces are represented either through large diplomatic contingents, merchants or imported labor that represents the best and most diverse trades from every province. Complicated imperial laws ensure that Aurumis should always be able to represent the best of all its peoples in unison, and as such many large merchant companies have unique trading deals with the Imperial Palace that give them a monopoly on delivering wares from their home provinces to Aurumis.
