Eilcíud

Eilcíud is the oldest elven colony on Dain, though it has long since given up its ties to the old elven empire and become part of the The Gold Empire, a young and reckless power in the eyes of the elves. During the early years of the Gold Empire, when it was still Oldan, the High Kingdom, the man who would one day bear the title of The Gold Emperor saved it from human reavers. The people grew to adore him and soon become the most zealous subjects of the Gold Empire. The Aurathean Church had its humble beginnings from those who began worshipping the Gold Emperor in Eilcíud, the first place where such a creed is recorded, and today the Pontiff of the Burning Throne, the highest authority among Aurathear Darastrix's followers, has their seat of power there.
