Githyanki

The Githyanki are a brutal and warlike people who control The Astral Plane around the Font of Creation, sailing aboard Sunships, riding dragons and fighting in the name of the Sun Queen Vlaakith. They are known throughout the multiverse as slavers and warriors, and few astral species dare defy their domain at the heart of creation. The Githyanki are commited to the final slaughter of the illithids who once enslaved them, though the illithid empire has been so reduced that they now spend most of their time on slave raids and humbling those who would challenge their hegemony.
