Braymor - The Mining City

Approaching the city, it is surrounded by a giant stone wall and only a single entrance and exit through a set of large gates at the road that is heavily guarded. In the back, a large clock tower can be seen that appears to be a large stone monolith with ancient runes carved into it. Once past the gate and guards after a quick sign-in stating names, business in the city, and expected time in the city, the crowns district opens up. This is not really an adventurer town, and, in the beginning, the town's profits were fueled by Braymoor's boating known for their boat-making skills. With a negotiated contract to harvest trees from the forests of Didun they created all manners of ships, small boats, and even iron boats for warships. Because of their skillset, they have also contracted the design and secondary manufacturing of the airships of Windbury. Years after the boating industry took off and the town expanded, they found caves along the outside of the city where a group of dwarves and kobold miners began excavating it and found rare minerals and gems. With this influx of money, the city petitioned for the giant walls to be built to keep outsiders from going into the mineshafts and the town became more and more paranoid. Most patrons disdain outsiders and would rather see them get in and get out than stay. It is hard to move into Braymoor which is considered at most a "Gated community" village. Beyond the city towards the back is Uglug's Bridge which legend says was a giant sea creature that attacked the town in its beginning stages. A group of adventurers smote the beast down and it was used as a bridge to get to the island of Gashak which had previously only been able to be gotten to by boat. Over the years as the beast decayed, the bones remained and dwarven engineers began the stonework to block in the skeleton of the creature nicknamed "Uglug" (because you go ug lug when you get pulled under the water to be eaten).   Places of Interest:   The Thirsty Gypsy: A heroic elven tavern, decorated with exotic weapons and armor ran by a short female elf with short blonde hair and orange eyes named Nerwenye. She was once a gypsy and found her way into Braymoor and is a bit aloof and comes off creepy.
