Order of the Golden Dragon

Mountains surround the Asian-inspired monastery, and the only path exiting is back toward the city of Aritan. The air is chilled and frigid and seems to dampen the few colors of the building. What was once vibrant whites, golds, and reds are now faded meshing into the cracked stone around the outside. The order was created nearly 80 years ago by the holy wizard Riament Grangerford. He provided all money to build and establish the order within the mountains and would continue to do so as long as they swore fealty to him to help him and those after him to protect these lands. Many years after that, the order was called in as aid in the war of Brifux against the orc stronghold of Lar Azrel. The monks of the order assembled and sailed across the ocean and fought against the orc onslaught where one of the commands by the name of Sereid Zistin found a young, orc soldier nearly on death's door. Taking pity on the child he kept him safe and with no known parents in sight he brought him back over to the continent of Grenias where he enrolled him into the order for protection and training. The order never quite got over the war there before the Queen of Dragons was summoned and the order was called in again to assist with the battle. Not many monks remain due to this. Their primary founder Greekka was killed during the battle with Tiamat and Galadantook over.
