The Smiths

The Smith family of dwarves is a renowned family living in Heggolar. The founding of the city dates back to one of the original smith family members setting up shop underground and building the forge to perform their miracles with metal working. Since then the smiths made their money by crafting beautiful weapons, armors, and artifacts for adventuerers; however, those days have long since passed. The use for generic armor for guards under the Iron Parliament, standard swords and shields, and other various items such as horse shoes, wagon tongues, etc... have filled their hallways. With the changing of times, the need for adventurerers has depleated drastically. The Smith family has also provided somewhat of an alliance with Trosall as they are one of the primary manufacturers of all metal work needed for the guards as well as anything that the artificers would need to assist in their research. A few of the family members still hold on to the old ways and provide adventuring gear on the side, but they are more black balled from the primary needs of the family.
