Trinda - The Monstrous City

Trinda was a small port city that handled supplies, deliveries, and most trade transported back and forth to Porthca. Around 30 years ago, a purple worm and two young purple worms ran out and/or migrated out of the well of dragons as territory was being fought over. The small town was terrorized by these creatures and sent out an all-hands to the neighboring towns. A few adventuring parties answered the call; however, the one that was delivered was the Scions of the Turquoise Cod. Once destroyed, the adventuring party decided to retire and while they were there recovering helped rebuild the town and harvested everything they could. The town contains large silos of dried and frozen worm meat (frozen by a few wizards in some scaled warehouses) and most of the town has been outfitted with monster parts and large purple scales. Weaponsmiths and traders have harvested the acid and teeth of the creatures for profit, but most are gone by now. The keep was named after the adventurer party and much of their history and lore are littered throughout the town. Rumors of the holes that the worms dug to get here contain precious metals and minerals have made their way around town and it has become somewhat of a mining town with a shakey, unsafe tunnel going back to the well of dragons and some say even to Adis.
