Graelia

Graelia centers around a fantasy world at war. Two sides, the norsters and the humans are fighting a bloody war and our heroes adventure midst it. The humans arrived on the continent of Graelia roughly a thousand years ago after a catastrophe stuck heir own home land, Gresane. Before the humans on the continent lived a different species, the norster who practiced magic.   Graelia supports a hard magic system. Magic is divided into schools and there are five main schools. (School of) Conjuration , (School of) Destruction, (School of) Earth, (School of) Restoration & (School of) Spirit.   The humans started to settle down on the continent and at first kept away from the norster on most part but eventually their greedy need to expand their kingdoms forced the norster to act in order to keep their own lands from the intruders. Conflicts broke between humans but also between the two races. Some tribes of norster sold their own and enemy captives as slaves to the humans in an attempt to bargain for their own freedom and peace. Around 310 years after the humans arrived they have formed 4 large kingdoms, the Solowin kingdom being the largest of them. The Solowins wanted to unify all the other kingdoms to one big one under their own rule of course and eventually they succeeded. The Solowins also suggested the idea of the unification of culture under the rule of the kingdom, that meaning one official tongue and religion and also extremely tight laws regarding the usage of magic. The norster refused as they valued their culture and weren't ready to give it up. Other humans bent to the Solowins' demands and bent the knee, except the Ravenswoods who circa 715 AA had conqured land for themselves around their own Kingdom. Norster declared that they were ready to wage war in order to defend their culture. Solowins accepted it and turned to violence. The new United Kingdoms declared war on norster and begun a new attempt at conquering the whole continent. Magic was outlawed and norster were declared as below humans and openly used as slaves.   The second major war ends around 715 years After Arrival. Ravenswood kingdom is now part of The United Kingdoms and the norster live outside the borders of the kingdom, in the northern and the very southern parts of the continent.   We are now on the 4th Era and on the 153th year of that Era the Solowin's decide to attempt talking the norster lands again. The Ravenswood house betrays the Kingdom's and decide to assist the norster to take their lands back and destroy the kingdom.
