Diariel was born to Arlik and Ophaniel Anahera. Arlik was a third generation inn owner and Diari continued the family business after Arlik died in a skirmish. Not too long after that Ophaniel died to sickness. Diari was 17 at the time and swore she could take care of the inn and her younger sister, Levanael but her relatives didn't agree. Levanael moved to live with the girls' aunt Ona and her husband Michael in the city of Eshenhill. Diari refused to sell the inn and stayed. She always sent money to Levanael to make sure she had everything she needed. Diari also visited her family whenever she could, at least once a month.
