The Crystal Archives

Faction Type: Arcane Enclave The Crystal Archives are made up of scholars on the island of Castaregna. They have settled and built facilities in the oasis town of Maricia. The bulk of their time is spent researching the massive crystalline structures that have formed within the deserts of Castaregna. Research caravans are frequently sent out across the desert and into the surrounding jungles in hope of uncovering more about how the strange crystals of Castaregna have influenced the island and its wildlife. The Archives were first formed by a group of Gem Dragonborn, and Gem Dragonborn still make up a large amount of the population of Maricia. The researchers of the Crystal Archives are made up of scholars, mages, wizards, sorcerers, alchemists, and archeomancers, all working in tandem to keep things running smoothly at the research base. Outlanders who travel to Castaregna from across the realm can trade with the researchers at the Crystal Archives, thought they do guard some of their secrets quite closely.
