Aurelia

A half-celestial daughter of Lymirin. Though her mother tried to encourage her to seek her own path, Aurelia believed it was her duty to give hope to the followers of Justice and serve as their guiding light. When the Abyss launched an attack against on the nearby land she quickly realized she was little more than a figurehead, and that neither her words or her presence had any meaningful impact on the lives of the people in danger. Aurelia sought to do something useful and started accompanying supply runs, but was caught in an attack led by the son of a Demon Lord, apparently seeking her out to do battle. She managed to rally the frightened and demoralized soldiers by pointing to the Son's flaming whip- a ridiculously impractical weapon- and posited that he was no more a fighter than she was. He followed her to Vigil, and approached her after a ceremony where her fellow soldiers swore up and down she had defeated him with her own hands with an invitation to commiserate being a divine figurehead. The two got on better than either anticipated, and carried on a relationship in secret.
