Blinding Light

When this spell is cast, the caster is cloaked in the brilliant silvery radiance of Pholtus. This radiance is then focused into the palm of the caster's hand and shoots forth a desired distance (up to the maximum range) to a target of the caster's choice. All creatures caught in the area of effect suffers 1d6 hit points of damage per level of the caster (minimum 14d6 points of damage). A saving throw vs. spell is allowed for half damage. If the amount of damage caused is greater than the creature's available hit points, that creature is instantly reduced to ash.

Creatures that survive the attack are blinded for 1 turn per level of the spell caster, and those who were using infravision at the time of the casting are blinded for twice as long. Creatures without eyes, and those not sensitive to visible light, are not affected by this blindness.

Undead creatures are immediately incinereated (no saving throw) and turned to ash.

Blinding light will also automatically dispel any magical darkness.
