Caoimhin (koo-ev-inn)

Caoimhin appears as a typical killmoulis; that is to say, he is a large-nosed, mouthless brownielike creature only a foot in height. He wears gossamer armor covered in thick woolen rags to help him keep warm. He grumbles nervously from time to time.

Caoimhin is part of the Outer Circle of the Seelie Court, but Queen Titania loves him as much as any member of her Inner Circle. She is over-protective of him, mollycoddling and mothering him despite his feigned annoyance.

Caoimhin dwells in the Seelie Court realm, which wanders between the planes of the Beastlands, Arborea, and Ysgard. He rarely ventures out, except during his sudden fits of curiosity, but he will not do this without one of the other members of the Court nearby to protect him.

Caoimhin likes warm clothing, plentiful food, bardic poetry, and harmonious music, especially that played on stringed instruments. He is a creature of creature comforts, shy and introverted. However, he will fight bravely for himself or his people. He is a strongly moral being, in his fey way, and he will not desert his people if they are attacked in his presence or that of his avatar, nor will he desert one of his friends in need.

Caoimhin is revered by his people, the killmoulis.

Caoimhin looked like a typical tiny and mouth-less killmoulis, except that he was garbed in a thick, ragged garment of wool and wore gossamer armor.

Beyond any other traits, Caoimhin was shy to the point of cowardice, only able to be pressured into fighting if no other option remained. However, he would not desert his people and would fight bravely for them. He had a strong sense of morality, which made him lean toward chaotic good actions.

He was prone to grumble.[3] He liked being warm and comfortable and having a full stomach. He enjoyed the tastes of honey and sweatmeats. Beautiful music and the tales of bards entranced him.

Caoimhin had the power to mend broken objects at will. Multiple times per day, he could cause confusion in enemies—usually as a means to escape—or calm emotions. He could create a fog cloud, a magical symbol of persuasion, or an assortment of minor items or objects. He also had the power to make a group of killmoulis seem like some other sort of creature. He could make cats and dogs of all varieties afraid.

Caoimhin could always remain invisible if he desired, even while casting spells or attacking. He could communicate telepathically with any nearby sentient beings.

Besides his gossamer armor and ragged clothing, Caoimhin always carried a magical pin that he used as a weapon. He also had been given an assortment of protective magical items from Titania or the other sylvan gods. These items typically included a brooch of shielding, a cloak of displacement, and a few healing potions.

Little Caoimhin is the shy god of the killmoulis. He rarely ventures out from the Seelie Court, preferring to loiter about, eating sweetmeats and honey. But in occasional fits of curiosity, he may wander around outside for a few minutes or so, but rarely without another of the sylvan gods within close reach. Caoimhin likes warm clothing, plenty of food, and all simple creature comforts. The little killmoulis god is also entranced by the recitations of bards and harmonious music, especially that played on string instruments.

Role-playing Notes: Caoimhin has only one avatar which he is able to move across the planes, thanks to Titania's help. The avatar does not often enter the Prime Material, since Caoimhin is basically a cowardly creature. He usually only dispatches the avatar if accompanied by at least one other sylvan avatar, preferably Skerrit or Oberon who are strong, or that of Titania herself. However, if pushed up against the wall (so to speak) the little killmoulis will fight bravely for himself or his people. Caoimhin has a strong sense of morality and love for his little people, and will not desert them if they are being attacked when his avatar is present. Neither will he ever desert a fellow avatar if a conflict is involved.
