Session 28: The Champions' Feast
General Summary
Zeke was tired and asked to be escorted to his bunk early. The rest of the party decided to mingle.
Nemara stalked Loris Raknian, and found the covered walkway which led to his palace adjacent to the arena. She also pocketed a lot of party food.
Vin tried to socialize with the team sitting next to them - a quartet of elven archers, but they snobbily refused to acknowledge her. So she went and chatted up one of the other gladiator teams, instead.
Meanwhile, Sigvurd noticed their manager, Ekaym, was watching Loris like a hawk watches prey.
Lins was silent, but used her studied tactical abilities to size up the competition. She observed the other teams, and determend how they compared to her in various ways. Helpful info for tomorrow's battle.
After the feasting and fireworks, the teams were escorted to the Coenoby. They entered their underground dorm and got comfy on their backs. This refurbished cavern, with its kitchen/infirmary and its narrow stream would be their home for the duration of the Champion's Games.
