Waycombe
"You know, when spring comes around and all the birds come back to the trees and those little yellow flowers start blooming around the water, I almost forget why I ever wanted out of this town. Then the summer heat rolls up and I remember."The village of Waycombe sits on the edge of the Great Southern Swamp - more commonly known as the Drowning Fens, though locals prefer the former title for obvious reasons. Being so far into the sticks, Waycombe doesn't see a lot of traffic, but it has a place in local trade, and some accommodations for travellers.
Leanna Warden, teenager.
