Cracked Tankard Inn
The Cracked Tankard Inn is a roadside inn marking the halfway point between Innspa and Womtham, and standing at a crossroads where the road from Knurl connects to the rest of Nyrond.
Overview
The Cracked Tankard Inn sees a lot of traffic such as merchants, entertainers, and soldiers moving between Innspa and Womtham, or even from or to Knurl. It is located in a valley next to a tributary of the Harp River, joining up in Almor. The current innkeep, Natali Ritter, hails from a long line of innkeeps who have owned the Cracked Tankard for several generations. An elaborate tapestry hangs behind the bar. Rumour has it that there are secret symbols and writings embroidered into the pattern. Some say it’s a treasure map. Others say it’s magical incantations for powerful spells. And others claim it hides the password for a secret society. The barkeep says she just thought it was pretty.
