Yarpick

Commonly called the Daggerthorn, the Yarpick is a shortish, sturdy tree with broad, fringed leaves. Its nickname comes from the frightfully sharp thorns that radiate from its trunk and branches, which can grow anywhere from half a foot to two feet in length. Yarpick thorns have been used as weapons. The trees are common in the Bramblewood Forest, and is also found in the Dapple Woods and Iron Woods.
Yarpick fruits are not edible, but its plum-sized inner seed is nutty and nutritious, eaten roasted or ground into meal.
