Olma's Mercantile

Olma's Mercantile started out as a merchant's warehouse in the newly established outpost of Legion's Hollow in the Borderlands by Olma Margas, but in the past couple of months it has also become the settlement's only tavern. Before Dawn's Rest was completed, it was also the town's worship center.
Olma's Mercantile is a stout building with a cobblestone foundation, rough timber and daub walls and a thatched roof. At first it was a large one-room building with dirt floors, but recent improvements have included hewn timber flooring and a couple of partitioning walls to created store rooms for the merchandise Olma carries. Even so, a number of crates and barrels cannot fit in the storage area and just clutter up the main room. Tables and chairs are at a premium, so many customers use these crates and barrels to sit or eat on. An attached hut provides housing for Olma and her three boys. There is also a stable and corral, mainly to house their pack mules, but travelers can also rent a stall for their mounts for 1 cp per day. Olma owns three nearby huts that she will also rent out to travelers.
Much of Olma's business is in trade. Local residents bring her produce, meat or furs for credit on their account. Then they can spend from that until they have something else to trade. Olma makes her own apple jack (distilled apple whiskey). Very few of the farmers have been able to start their own production yet. The mead and whiskey is imported from Everlund by her sons' monthly trips.
