Northern Coalition

The Northern Coalition is one of the three major parties in the court of the Aelgari Empire. They come from the Northern States, which were more recently annexed than the main jungle center. The Northerners are generally lighter-skinned, but have more respect in the Court than the Islanders or people from the Western more newly annexed states. Noble lords and ladies, their power is old, even if it is not ancient.

Structure

Each noble family chooses a Councillor to represent them. It is a very prestigious position. The elected Councillors form the Northern Coalition. They then elect a party leader, treasurer and the like.

Public Agenda

Their goal is to regain and keep as much of their original power as they possibly can.
