The Violet Company

"The Violet Company makes violent company" - Feywild proverb   One of the two great merchant guilds of the Feywilds, the Violet Company claims control over all Feywild trade. To this end, they trade, invest, lend, raid, and intimidate. Merchants, businesses, guilds, towns, even entire kingdoms have been bullied into coercive contracts with the Violet Company. The moment the door is open, they aggressively integrate with the local economy to make themselves as difficult to remove as possible.   Many raiding and trading caravans contract with the Violet Company out of necessity. They are such a fact of life for any large trading operation that it simply isn't worth the fight- the Company opens up markets and offers opportunities for coordination.
