How N'dale Became A God

N'dale was an Aethasian who started learning the arcane arts early on. His specialty was illusions, and it was this skill that would later define his divine nature. Unfortunately, tragedy struck early in life, leaving him without parents and unable to continue his education due to financial issues. He was so desperate and alone that he had no choice but to resort to thievery to stay alive.
One day, he was attempting to steal enough food to eat and about to get caught. He prayed for any divine intervention that help him survive. He had heard stories of Takara, the Goddess of Thieves, but he never thought that she answer his cry for help. She couldn't bear to see young N'dale struggle alone, so she took him under her wing and taught him the ins and outs of thievery. Before leaving, she hooked him into the local Thieves Guild. Over time, she would visit him sporadically to check on him. Her guidance and support led to their deep bond of friendship. 
Takara captured N'dale's heart. When he reached maturity, he summoned the courage to request the chance to court her romantically. Takara turned him down, stating that she could only be with a divine being. Takara's words were gentle, but they shattered his dreams of being with her. N'dale didn't let disappointment get the best of him. Instead, he saw an opportunity to rise to the challenge. With a fierce determination, he set out to achieve godhood, all hoping to win Takara's hand.
N'dale's love for Takara and his experience with illusions and thievery drove him to devise the greatest trick of his life, becoming a god. He began by weaving tales of a cunning thief who wielded illusions to outsmart his victims. As his fame spread, people viewed him with reverence, believing he possessed extraordinary abilities. By using his illusions to help the oppressed, he gained a loyal following that admired him for his cunning tactics in tricking tyrants and redistributing wealth. His followers' unshakeable faith and deep-seated devotion, along with N'dale's exceptional abilities in illusions and manipulation, ultimately led to his rise to godhood.

He protects his followers by encouraging them to be cautious and selective with the truth, offering alternative perspectives when necessary.

Even though N'dale is a god, he remembers where he came from and maintains his connection with thieves and pranksters. In the Veil of Shadows, within the Starlight Enclave, he lives with his beloved Takara. He embodies the divine essence of trickery and uses his illusions and mischief to shape Mytilias.
