The Tinta Tamna Wilds
Remember; if you bite it and you die, it's poisonous. If it bites you and you die, it's venomous. An important distinctionInk dark and deadly, the jungles of the Tinta Tamna Wilds can be a dangerous lure for adventurous spirits and seekers of knowledge. While the wilds themselves teem with venomous creatures and unseen hazards, the temple city that lays at the heart of the forest tempts many to their doom. For those who make it to the city with curiosity and pure intentions in their heart, innumerable treasures await. Most, however, never make it that far.
Land of Serpents
It is widely known that the Tinta Tamna Wilds are home to thousands of species of snakes and reptiles. Aside from the home of the Xetri being in the deepest depths of the jungles, the wilds are the first stop for anyone seeking powerful poisons and venomous creatures. In fact, there are so many different species of reptiles, snakes, insects, and plants that even the most experienced adventurers often find themselves fighting for their lives in the wilds. The twisting paths, oppressive heat, and high humidity combine to make the perfect environment for reptiles to thrive. And thrive they do. The creatures of the wilds are not only numerous but, they tend to grow to impressive and terrifying size. The Xetri, humanoid-serpent creatures, can also prove quite a threat. Though most of them have mild, even friendly personalities, they tend to give even obvious villains the benefit of doubt. However, they have the natural abilities one would expect of giant snakes such as powerful venom and strong constricting muscles.Sweet as Necter
Besides the venomous fangs and powerful jaws of countless creatures, the wilds also host thousands of poisonous plants. Some of these plants are highly sought after by alchemists and assassins. Safely navigating the thick jungles and retrieving these precious poisons, however, is extremely difficult. Many of the plants possess defense mechanisms such as hidden barbs, grasping vines, and toxic spores.
