Varath

Description

Varathi are a large, humanoid race that with an innate skill and resilience towards magic.

Origins

The origins of Varathi on Halor are ancient, and they were known to be on Thrail Time of Refuge.

Appearance

Varathi have two forms of pigmentation -- one black and one white -- that populate their skin in a uniform distribution at a specific ratio. In short, their skin is pixelated with tiny black and white dots. When viewed from a distance, most creature's eyes will see this as grey. The ratio of black and white dots determines the darkness of the grey since no two individuals have the same shading. Most Varathi fall on the lighter side of grey leading to many other's nicknaming them "marblemen".   Varath hair is typically gray-white or black. ome Some Varathi make a point to consume argyrixis meat as a staple in their diets. This causes them to have a more purple-silver sheen to their skin and occasionally red hair.
