Caragor

Caragor is the Froslakian god of the dead and the chief god of the Froslakian Pantheon, being the most widely worshipped and most influential of the Froslakian deities. His widespread worship is mostly caused by the importance of death and ritualistic funerals to the Froslak people. A large part of Froslak culture is focused around death and the concept of mortality as Froslakians are taught to accept death as a proper and necessary end to life. Thus, Caragor is worshipped not out of fear, but out of the celebration of mortality.  He is a generally benevolent deity and is widely present in the material plane, choosing to spend most of his time disguised among mortals. He is known to seek out parties and revelry, enjoying celebration, drinking, and games beyond any other mortal or deity. Caragor appears, in his natural form, as a part-goat, part-bird creature covered in black fur and feathers and wearing a long, brown robe. When disguised, he often appears as an older human man with long gray hair and an unkempt beard. He typically bears one of his symbols on him when in this form, such as coin with the carving of an eagle's talon or black feathered earrings.
