The Death of Hahn

Era beginning/end

The Era of Divinity began when the Goddess of Creation, Hahn, was killed by her son, Zynsius. This is what started the Divine Wars which lasted 1000 years and ended with the establishment of the Divine Pantheon and the Banishment of the Old Gods. The devastation dealt to the mortal plane also caused the remaining gods to ascend to the divine realm and their influence on the mortal plane is much more passive as a result.

The Great Titan Zynsus murdered his father Ildon in an attempt to gain power over his brothers and sisters. This kicked off a 1000 year-long conflict that ended with Zynsus and his followers being defeated and banished. After the war, the Divine Pantheon was founded and the gods left Hanahn to be ruled by the mortals. They continue to watch over Ildon's creation and influence the mortals on behalf of them. The worship of Zynsus and the other 'Old Gods' was outlawed.
