The Era of Divinity began when the Goddess of Creation, Hahn, was killed by her son, Zynsius. This is what started the Divine Wars which lasted 1000 years and ended with the establishment of the Divine Pantheon and the Banishment of the Old Gods. The devastation dealt to the mortal plane also caused the remaining gods to ascend to the divine realm and their influence on the mortal plane is much more passive as a result.

After seeing the chaos the civil war brought upon the mortal world, the remaining deities made the decision to remove themselves from the mortal plane, limiting their immense power and influence over Hanahn.
