Mia Morto
A purpose
-You are going to make me proud.-Yes, father.-How?-By being like you.
When Mia was born, her parents were incredibly happy. They finally had an heir to their empire. Her father, known to everyone in Dethion as General Morto dedicated much of his time to her daughter. She grew up surrounded by comfort and privilege, but also a severe and strict education. Mia's father was firm with her and sometimes even distant, despite his presence.
From a young age, he taught her the importance of being smart, cunning and merciless. General Morto owned the world and the lives of million. She had the duty, the obligation to someday fill his shoes, and command the Pogron Empire.
Mia can barely reach the floor with her shoes, but she is sitting ramrod straight in a leather chair at a table surrounded by adults in uniform. Kids older and younger than her are huddled in the corners of the room. All the children are crying because they are under attack.
They are underground, safe. her father told her she shouldn't be afraid. She is not afraid. Her father's voice thunders with orders to his subordinates. They win the battle.
Later that day, her father takes her to see the fallen enemies. Mia decides she will be like her father and never be afraid.
A revelation
-Do you have what it takes?-Yes, father.-Why?-Because I'm like you.
When Mia was eighteen, she enrolled in mandatory military service. Her father wasn't his superior, and he didn't help her at all. This was the test she needed to overcome to prove herself worthy of one day replacing her father.
She worked hard and excelled in all the same areas her father before her did, and more. In her training and education in the military, she discovered her love for science. Mia's thirst for knowledge was endless. After she served in battle, she was promoted to conduct experiments in Base Infinity.
After five years of complete dedication to the Pogron Empire, her dedication, firm hand and leadership skills earned her the place of the director of the base. No one has dared to cry about nepotism. Unless to her face, or her many loyal subordinates. Until this day she reports directly to her father when he is in Rogion.
Mia is not afraid. The weapon in her hand is heavy. The air smells rotten. The corpses of her enemies litter the ground covered in blood and gore. Her captain claps her shoulder in congratulations. Mia hopes that she made her father proud.
A plan
-Are you sure this is going to work?-Yes, father.-Why?-I'm like you. You never fail.
Mia has been working on this project for years. Mia put in motion a plan to solidify Pogron's rule over the planet for centuries to come. Mia studied all that it was to know about The Anomaly and decided the best course of action was to replicate it and control it. This way Pogron's power couldn't be disputed.
The Lost couldn't have returned at a better moment. With their information, Mia planned to put the final touches on her portal device. Soon, her father, and later she and all the descendants from the Morto family could rule not only Dethion but the whole galaxy.
Mia opens the door to a secret facility in the base. Only she and a handful of trusted fellow scientists are allowed inside. Mia looks up and contemplates her biggest accomplishment. A gigantic structure made of metal, fueled by nuate, and controlled by the more powerful computers in the world, waiting to fulfil its mission.
Another two exact structures are located in strategic places far away. Soon, the three of them will open their maws to the sky and bring a miracle to life for the glory of the Pogron Empire. Mia is not afraid. Her father is proud of her.

-If you want to get alive out of here, you must forget what it means to have a heart.-But, Captain, there are children out there.-We are at war! Those children won't show you mercy if you hesitate one second.
-We must separate them immediately. Be gentle, tell them it's for their good. I'll supervise the interrogatory myself. I want eyes on them 24 hours. Any error will be severely punished. Did I make myself clear?
-One day, the galaxy will be yours. If you are worth it.-How do I become worthy, mother?-You must be like me, of course.-I will, mother.
Oh boy. It begins.
