Lyntern Palfray was born into a world of neglect and loneliness. His father, Edmund Parlfray, expected the servants and tutors to raise him, as they had done for himself. Unlike his father, however, Lyntern became fascinated with stories of the great heros of his family - of Sarden and Lothar Parlfray, and he wants nothing more than to become a hero like they were. He devoted himself to learning their legends and his greatest hope is to finally join someone on a great adventure, so that his name would ring out in song.
