Samson
Samson was a local farmer in the Harlaton area, until about a year ago. He disappeared and was presumed dead when he couldn't be found. The general theory is that he wandered too close to the New Mire, and drowned, and would eventually be found when the mire's water receded.
Instead, the mire grew and his farm was swallowed by the new swampland the following summer.
Presumed dead, he was found on the 7th of May, 1542 by Ava Millerani after tracking a group of bandits between Harlaton and Milborne. After questioning him, it was discovered that he had no memory of the previous year, and the last thing he remembers is seeing a group of farmers approaching him on his farm.
