Ilvar Rings

These rings come in pairs.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Attunement: Long rest with a "duet prayer" to Ilvar made by both ring wearers. Each wearer makes a religion check; +2 for Ilvar worshippers, advantage for Ilvar clerics. The one with the higher check gets temp HP = lower religion check -10 (min 0). On a tied religion check, both wearers gain the temp HP.
Effect: In addition to the temp HP, both parties resist all damage to themselves, and the other party takes untyped damage of the amount avoided. When either party drops to 0 HP, the attunment is broken, and the temporary HP of the other wielder, if any, are lost. Re-attunment during a future long rest is still possible.
When either party is bloodied (brought down to half HP) or brought to 0 HP the other party will be Telepathically alerted.
