The Marston family were already a wealthy influential family before the Wrath. John and Lisa Marston adopted Hausken as the family home in 96 BEFORE and set up a small tavern, named after their family crest - "The Night Stag". The success of the tavern led to the family purchasing a second tavern a few blocks away, and gifting this to their only son, Flyn, as he came of age. This tavern was called "The Stag and Arms". Flyn Marston married Eliza Burd and had two boys - Carl and Kevest. Both boys inherited each of the taverns. The boys were able to complete business degrees at the Hausken University, and with their business sense, diversified the family's portfolio with the taverns equity to include a bunk house, a brewery, and a small restaurant known for its meat delicacies. The taverns survived The Wrath, and flourished in the captured market. Carl married and left the Night Stag to his only daughter Rachael Marston. Kevest married and left the Stag and Arms to his son Lewis. Rachael never married and as they got older and times evolved, she decided to create a trust with her cousin Lewis, to preserve the family name and remove the need for family members to marry and have sons to control the legacy. With this trust in tact, Carl's family line did not continue but was not forgotten, as Lewis was able to marry and have five children in their affluence circumstances. The children grew to assist with and expand all businesses, and their middle son, also called Lewis (Jr), is now a member of the Tower Council.
