Session 09 - Road to Birk Report

General Summary

Godsday, 4th Reaping of 784

• Galar Granito-Negro and Vala  have an awkward moment, but then Galar explain he was just trying to measure her physical prowess and ask if she would be willing to start practicing combat techniques with her, she agrees and they schedule to do it every day at dawn while on the road;
• The group resupplies some ration at Bryce's shop;
• They start traveling to Birk 

Freeday, 7th Reaping of 784

• They meet a small caravan of a nomad tribe on the road traveling north;
• Their leader, Thori Bonegrip, greets and invite them to stay a while, have lunch, a conversation and perhaps make some trade;
• Thori listen to their tale of how Winterhaven was destroyed, and he tells them them that not far from Thorp, they passed a monastery in ruins, with all the fields around it also destroyed and no one in sight;
• Aphelios  acquires four rings, Galar a white pearl and Finnan Wildbridge a pan flute made of bones;

Sunday, 9th Reaping of 784

• A single but fierce Bulette attacks them on the road;
• They defeat it and take some time extracting its metallic shell, Galar want to drag it all the way to Birk;

Freeday, 14th Reaping of 784

• They arrive at Birk;
• At the gates, they learn about the rules to enter;
• Aphelios signs up the the Tower Arcanis;
• They abide by the rules, pay the toll of 2 gold pieces and gain access to the town;
• Inside they ear someone actively seeking someone to work as a shit-shoveler;
• They find a job board with some tasks in need of adventurers;
