Session 14 - A new day in Birk Report

General Summary

Freeday, 14th Reaping of 784

• Party gets rooms at the Riverside Hostel;
• The group listens to the stories of the some bards at the The Rustic Scabbard;
• One of the bards tells a story about being saved from an Hydra in a swamp back west of Birk, and being saved by two dwarven warriors, called Sindra and Vili, who turns out to be Galar Granito-Negro daughter and wife;
• Finnan Wildbridge while in his room at the hostel uses the sea water component they found among Father Baird stuff in the crypts and uses it on his shorts swords that he inherited from his grand-father; This is enough to activate the magic in the swords, but Finnan falls unconscious on the floor dreaming of some of the past adventures the previous wielders of the swords lived;

Starday, 15th Reaping of 784

• In the morning Finnan tells them what happened with the swords and that now their magic is awakened;
• They visit Riverside Park where they meet Aribeth, an elven druid who tends the park;
• Surreal Sha seeks one of the peaceful areas of the parks with small druidic henge, the shine to the Old Faith; There she communes and the spirits of nature rely a message to her from the Gods and Goddess, "to keep the balance in all things";
• They hear a rumour about a temple to Celestian, called the Observatory that has a magic dome that always painted the stars in the night sky but it went pitch black for a few weeks;
• The party also decides to investigate more about Tharizun.
