The First Mission Report

General Summary

Líah and Kander made their way from Argen’s Bridge to the city of Redblood Valley where the annual Twilighters’ Meeting was taking place. It was time for Líah to make her Oath if she wanted to become a part of the organisation. 
The meeting was taking place outside the city in a mysterious mortal’s farm. There were over fifty mortals present, all of them familiar with each other and having a great time. 
Kander and Líah arrived there in the first evening, a bit before the Watchers’ Oath that was taking place the same night. Kander introduced Líah to Master Morris, his old friend who had also brought his apprentice Lyall to the induction. 
Lyall was in Líah’s opinion insufferable. He seemed arrogant and slightly self-obsessed. 
Líah and Lyall were not the only apprentices taking part in this years Watchers’ Oath. Master Afrid, an old woman, had brought a young woman, Scarrow, with her. She kept to herself and surprisingly was carrying weaponry with her. She had a cool and brooding aura around her. 
When Moonshine arrived from the Bazaars it was time to begin. The Watchers’ Oath is different each year but it always tests the ability to move unseen and quick thinking. 
This year, Moonshine employed her pet rabbits to hold the symbols. Apprentices had to hunt down the rabbits, take the symbols, and return them to Moonshine without her noticing. After that, the symbol would pass around until it makes it to the apprentice’s master.
Surprisingly, Lyall was quick to hunt down the rabbit and pass the symbol to Moonshine. All of his arrogance wasn’t unfounded, it seems. Both Scarrow and Líah had more trouble with the task but all three of them were successful and were induced into the organisation. 
To make everything official, the three apprentices swore the magically binding Watchers’ Oath making them operatives. A celebration ensued! 
Next morning the actual Meeting began and Líah was given her first actual mission: infiltrate the New Dawn and see who the leaders are. The Twilighters will tolerate no corruption and Líah is to make sure that nothing untoward is happening. 
Líah is sent to Redblood Valley to make first contact with the Day’s Travel Rest stables where the New Dawn has agents.
