Otto IV

Last Wythian King of Sevnónicha

Otto IV (24 March 342 - 2 January 407), also known as Otto the Spineless, was the King of Sevnónicha from 364 to 407 AU. A member of the Wythian dynasty, Otto was the eldest son of Weinrich II and Elsibet of Lindetal, and a distant great-nephew of Friedrich Wythe. He was the last Wythian monarch to rule over Sevnónicha, abdicating as King in the final days of 406 and perishing in the bloody withdrawal of Imperial forces from Pavöto.

Otto was born on the 24th of March 342 AU to Weinrich II, King of Sevnónicha, and Elsibet of Lindetal, the youngest daughter of a minor nobleman from said island. According to court historian Ulrich Krüger, "The northern climate disagreed with the young Prince. He could often be found wandering the halls of the palace wrapped in an assortment of blankets and shawls, shaking so violently from the cold that an ill-informed passerby might have believed he was possessed by a Sevnóni demon of some variety. [...] On the rare occasion when his royal highness ventured beyond the palace walls in the company of his father the King... "1
