The Dalcassian-Stone

The Dalcassian-Stone is a massive black stone structure situated in Taprobane, a few miles away from the Mörktornet. The magical structure is about 2.5 million years old, and seems to have been brought over by the Old Folk long ago. It is shaped like a four-sided giant black obelisk with a pointed top, and is said to be the most dangerous magical artifact in Heimland. The wealthy O'Shaughnessyconachta family used the Dalcassian-Stone as their house-symbol.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Not much is truly known about the stone, but a list of 25 strange Rules are written in Oldspeak on one side of the stone's four-sided surface:
The person (living being) whose name is written on this stone shall die. This person is a victim of the stone.
This powers of the stone will not take effect unless the writer has the person's face in their mind when writing his/her name. Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected.
If the cause of death is written within the next 2 minutes of writing the person's name, it will definitely happen; however, reality outside of the victim and the cause of death aimed at the victim cannot be manipulated.
If the cause of death is not specified, the victim will simply die of a heart attack.
After writing the cause of death, details of the death should be written in the next 6 minutes and 40 seconds.
This stone shall become the property of the person who is touching or using it, a new "owner" is chosen when a new person contacts the stone.
The current "owner" of the stone can recognize the image and voice of the original owner who used the stone previously.
The person who uses this stone can neither go to Heaven (the Good-Place) nor Hell (the Bad-Place), and can no longer die or age.
The person using the stone is partially possessed by the spirit of its original owner until they stop using the stone.
When a person uses the stone to kill someone, the spirit of the dead individual/individuals will appear in front of him/her within 39 days after he/she uses the stone.
A machine can extend its own "life" by putting a name on the stone, but living beings cannot.
A person can shorten or lengthen his/her own life by using the stone; this will, however, not affect the person's fate in any way as a user of the stone, or person who has previously used the stone, can no longer die or leave the physical realm.
The person who uses the stone will lose half of his/her remaining life, but will start to rot and decay instead of dying or aging.
A person who uses/has used the stone cannot be killed even if stabbed in the heart with a knife or shot in the head with a gun; nothing can hurt or kill them.
The conditions for death will not be realized unless it is physically possible for that victim or it is reasonably assumed to be carried out by that victim.
One shard or piece taken from the stone, or even a fragment of a shard, contains the full effects of the stone.
The instrument to write with can be anything; cosmetics, blood, ink and so on. As long as it can write directly onto the stone and remains as legible letters.
Once the victim's name, cause of death and situation of death have been written down on the stone, this death will still take place even if that part of the note in which it has been written is erased before the stated time of death.
If the victim's name has been written and then the section of the stone with the name and cause of death is erased in the middle of writing, the victim will be killed by heart attack in 40 seconds after writing the name regardless of erasure.
If the victim's name and cause of death have been written and the middle of writing the situation of death, then the victim will be killed within 6 minutes and 40 seconds via the stated cause of death if the cause is possible within that period of time, but otherwise, the victim will die by heart attack.
Even if a new victim's name, cause of death, or situation of death is written on top of the originally written name, cause of death or situation of death, there will be no effect on the original victim's death. The same thing will also apply to erasing what was written with a pencil, or whitening out what was written with a pen, in attempt to rewrite it.
When you write multiple names on the stone and then write down even one cause of death within 40 human seconds from writing the first victims name, the cause will take effect for all the written names.
After writing the cause of death, even if the situation of death is written within 6 minutes and 40 seconds in the human world, the situation will only occur to the victims whom it is possible. For those where the situation is not possible, only the cause of death will occur. When one full side of the stone has been used to write names and causes of death, the stone will be made clean again and all the previous names and causes of death will vanish to leave space for more to be written. However, this will not affect the names and causes of that that were written already.
Only the other three sides of the four sides of the stone can be used to write on. The fourth side with the Rules written on it cannot be used to kill a victim.
Once dead, a victim of the stone can never come back to life.
It has been confirmed that the powers of the stone are real. When a person's name is written on the stone, that person will definitely die. Every other Rule written on the artifact has proven to be true. There are rumors of "wanderers" (people who have used the stone before, and now wander the earth as they cannot die or age) who sometimes appear standing around the stone on full-moon nights. These wanderers have been described as grotesque and rotting, but not dead or aged.
