Urmurghaan
"Blood Prooving." in the Orcish tongue of Orkhazgulukh. A ritual of honor bound, single combat between two Orcs or between an Orc and an opponent of another race. In Orcish society, the Urmurghaan is called to settle disputes between individuals. With a Shaman enlisted to set the terms of the duel.
Often the altercation is to be settled on first blood, or on the relenting of one of the participants. But for the right to be a Khhan, or Chief. A Urmurghaan can only end in Death. There can be no lingering opposition.
A circle of spectators would enclose the two combatants in, preventing any and all retreat. Being thrown back into the fight by the wall of spectators.

History
In the Old Homeland of the Orcs. In fighting was nearly the death of the entire species. Until the Shamans determined that single combat between any that disputed with each other. Assuring to all the strength of who ever won, and depending on the manner in which the fight was ended, dissuading any that would challenge the victor.
