Adalanta Shipping

Adalanta Shipping is a relatively new new venture formed by merchants in the republics who sponsor a common fleet of explorers and tradesmen. The Guild has proven to be quite ruthless in search for natural resources to fuel it's colony programs, and it's many members and other trade ventures with the guilds and internal markets of the republic.

Guild of the many

Adalanta shipping has quickly become one of the biggest guilds in terms of members due to ever expanding trade fleets, spearheading new opportunities into the heartlands of Dozango. The guild relies heavily on it's numbers to cover these dangerous seas, requiring many hands to both ship it's wares but also protect them, it's many members being as such it's greatest strenght and weakness, for while it has many funds from their membership and businesses, it must also protect these members, for they need the faith of the public to survive much more so than the other guilds.

Ruthless entrepreneurs

Adalanta unlike many other guilds, has shown very little restraint on it's members, taking a very lax approach to management, by allowing it's members to achieve their quotas however they want, this has lead to many ship's becoming more and more ruthless and exploitative in their operations to fuel their growth, at the cost of local relations and lives. This is viewed with mixed reactions from back home, some implore their approach as utilitarian and wise, others as reckless and damaging.

Structure

The Guild is centered around a board of affluent merchant families who internally vote on what actions and plans they will approve and fund, while leaving their execution to trusted captains and family members. As such the guild has an agile approach to management, in which each member of the guild is expected to carry out orders and quotas in what approach they deem best.

The Extract the resources of the Dozango islands and make new homes for the people of the republics.

Assets

The Guild imports woods, ivory, gemstones and slaves back to the republic and other markets. While having access to a steadily increasing fleet of trade ships and warships to protect from the ever increasing threat of piracy.
