Kurokto

The Kurokto have survived by forming a tightly nite society that places communal values highly, society has become extended family, and personal housing is rare, and a spartan life style not only encouraged but necessary. They believe that the greatest act one can do is to give to others(society) and selfishness is anathema, if not foreign, for such things would mean death on Marazma. Another important aspect of their society is a healthy respect and awe for the island, they dare not venture deeply or extract too much from it, only what they can get by on. This has led to fear all that hails from the marsh intensely, as such they usually fear the troll-kin even those fostered from their own linage are treated with suspicion. They live in isolated groups traveling along the islands outermost coast, but never too far south, living as hunter gathers. Only One Village of their kin exist, it is it their name derives from, from their does the chieftain rule with an iron fist, overseeing all within his village.
