Hanal'Ghilana'Emma Vethzulia
Those who bear the title of Hanal'Ghilana'Emma, also bear its mask, an ancient and powerful artifact, meant to strip the wearer of their identity and assume their role as leader, largely symbolic act, they hang up their old mask until they are no longer worthy of the title. Once she was Vethzulia, though she has not been called so in most living memory.
Vethzulia is amongst the longest-lived in the clan, having been there in ages past when they migrated, she saw their culture and way of life fade and was the first to carve the masks of their kin, a symbolic role she still assists many of the young with, a compassioned but stern leader. She has made many sacrifices both personal by order of her people, and has grown as accustomed as she is wary of planning for the long term, suffering is temporary duty must be maintained, and the clan must continue.
