Career Progression

There are mandatory tests throughout schooling that can determine if someone is able to be a wielder. As soon as they graduate they begin to be pressured to join, sometimes threats are sent. The longer someone is a wielder the better allowance and homes they get, and sometimes they are able to enjoy more time off. But the prolonged exposure and nature of the work leads to many deaths, meaning most wielders do not make it to enjoy the benefits.

Payment & Reimbursement

Wielders are paid in room, board, and respect. They are considered the highest class and are given special treatment in many areas. They are also given an allowance which can be kept or passed to their family.

Food and housing is provided, though these things are sometimes used as a prison. Since many wielders do not own their homes, they cannot decide when they can leave work to rest.

Constant work, many wielders die of exhaustion. So much exposure can be dangerous. It is difficult to move so much energy through your body.
