Crystalline Teleportation
The art of magical teleportation intertwinned with the science of Crystalline array teleportation has only been a concept for a few hundred years, and only recently in the past 200 years has it reached its current maturity that is used today.
Utility
The one major advantage that crystalline teleportation has over traditional teleportation is the ability to teleport bulk goods. What was previously thought prohibitivley expensive in the way of long-distance shipping suddenly has become very cheap, at least for those williing to pay the upfront cost of installation.
Discovery
It was discovered by Heroes For Hire artificers looking for ways to teleport goods over long distances without having to hire wagon trains, or strong-bodied couriers using normal teleportation.
