Sunderstone

Sundrstone is dominated by a large volcano to the west that is still active, a long wisp of smoke announcing the islands presence for leagues around. A long line mountains make the northern shore of the island inhospitable with high cliffs, dormant volcano caldera dotting the mountains that lead towards the still active cone on the far west. Thick pine forests cover the island, descending from the foothills of the mountains down to the shoreline. The island is perched on the edge of the great Maelstrom that encircles the entire Continent of Keskad, though still many leagues distant the eternal roiling clouds are visible towering miles into the sky and there is a near constant, steady flow of wind pushing from that direction that varies in strength of a light wispy breeze to steady strong gusts
