Barry's Billboards and Booze

Barrys Billboards and Booze functioned as a purveyor of liquor and a manager of billboards, catering to the mundane needs of the district's denizens. But beneath the surface, the establishment harboured a covert secret: it concealed a Chain Gang-operated club, a clandestine space hidden from the casual observer's eye. This subterranean sanctuary was a realm of hidden vices—a bar that facilitated contraband sales, a brutal fighting ring hosting boxing matches and creature battles. Bullywugs and Kua Toa faced off in these spectacles, and patrons placed bets as they revelled in the illicit.

The club's clientele mainly comprised gang members, each seeking a refuge where they could embrace their darker desires and partake in risky wagers. Unassuming civilians who stumbled upon this secretive enclave did so with a naiveté that could prove perilous, for they unwittingly crossed into the domain of perilous forces.

Yet, time marched on, and winds of change swept across Prisantine. The Chain Gang's grip weakened, and their influence faded to a mere whisper. After a decade of dormancy, the club emerged from obscurity with a radical transformation. It shed its ominous identity to become Barry's Billboards and Booze no more. Now, it embraced a vibrant rebirth as a punk rock live house, a tribute to its defiant, anti-establishment origins. The venue's walls resonated with the echoes of newfound creativity and rebellious spirit, as the legacy of The Chain Gang metamorphosed into a different kind of legacy—one that celebrated the power of reinvention, music, and the unquenchable human thirst for expression.
